Always love drawing Marilyn this one in particular. Older mature toward the end of her years. Hair movement & her look. Transcendent. Stunning image. Fabriano paper, Faber-Castell 6 & 8b pencils. Pitt 8b too. Soft graphite block for the background when I get to it.

Angel -Memory

The start of a change of style and focus for me. Travelled to Malta this year. So beautiful. The artwork moved me. I wanted to bring back to life the incredible passion I saw. The love in the statues and paintings. Hence Memory. Took four months to create. Fabriano paper, graphite Faber-Castell pencils, matt and derwent. I loved creating her. Turn into a passion for me. Will dedicate more art to religious theme. The strange thing about this piece as I was drawing this as I photographed what I was doing a halo appeared around the head? Now my main photograph for all my advertising. Never has that happened before on anything I have created. The day was dull. Sun wasn't out and no lights. Is it a sign? I wonder. Lol.
